This summer 2007, we continue to present
to you the achievements of our space Sunny
Side with a new project: “Artisanes Women
for the equitable trade”.
Thanks to the contest of PlaNet Finances
(ONG Morrocan woman of development), we
decided to create a “corner” entirely
dedicated to the work of associations and
co-operatives of the Moroccan rural world in
what they can produce for the approval of
our interiors.
The line Femmes Artisanes was born
following the project financed by the
European Union and carried out by PlaNet
Finance Morocco.
This project one year and half made it
possible to the women artisanes to profit
from formations, technical aid and to take
part in events such as exposures and
conferences.
The network women artisanes gathers 12
associations and co-operatives of women
artisanes of Morocco distributed in the area
of Marrakech - El Haouz, Tangier, Tétouan,
Casablanca and Agadir. All the members of
the network work for the economic and social
emancipation of the women like for the
development of Moroccan artisanal know-how.
IMPORTANT: More there are intermediaries
between the artisanes and the customers (your)
in end of line, more the prices climb. The
experiment showed that the marginal profit
is very very seldom with the profit of the
producing ones. We think that each one among
us can, of his manner, to take part in the
durable development and that it cannot y
have durable development without outlets of
sale of the products (household linen,
jewels, decoration of interior). This is why
Sunny Side put provision of the network a
space enabling them to have a better
visibility and to reach thus more potential
buyers on line (of the producer to the
consumer).
We hope to see you with go.
