Regional Meeting of the MENA Women’s
Programme
Date: 11-15 December 2006
Location: Marrakech
Participants: EU, British Council
This conference will bring together partners from the “Enhancing Opportunities
for Women in Economic Life” regional programme, financed by the European
Commission and Euromed.
The conference’s aim is to present the results for all the projects associated
with this programme and to take stock at the project’s halfway stage.
Christmas Market
The Christmas Market will be an opportunity for displaying the work of women
craftworkers from the project’s partner associations and cooperatives.
Training will alternate with displays.

Women’s Fair, Casablanca
There will be an exhibition at the Women’s Fair of items made by members of the
Women Craftworkers Network. The Fair is being held in Casablanca at the Moroccan
Foreign Exchange Office (Office des Changes), route d’El Jadida. The
Women Craftworkers Network’s stand will be on the first floor and will be
selling craft products produced by the women who are benefiting from the
“Support for Home-Based Women Craftworkers” project.
