CWYF’s Objectives:

Accomplishments to date:
1.
Meeting of the piloting committee
The
Piloting Committee of the project was
established in February 2006 and met April
4, 2006. The principal task of the committee
is to guide the set-up of the project and to
supervise all of the activities in order to
assure the coherence of the project.
2.
Project launch conference
The
conference was held April 11, 2006 at
Hacettepe University.
3.
Selection of the target group of recipients
During the month of February 2006, the
selection was made in several steps:
- development of
questionnaires
- choice of
interviewers
- training of the
interviewers
Here are the
characteristics of the target group:
- Income: low
income
- Education: from
low to average
- Age: over 18
years old
-Working
conditions: working from home
4.
Social mapping study
This study was done with
the aim of better knowing the
characteristics of the women working from
home, and this in five areas of Ankara. This
study is based on the statistical analysis (SPSS)
of questionnaires administered to the women
from these five areas.
